The nurse manager reports to the general manager at the health facility and works tirelessly to ensure that the cardiac progressive care unit at Sanford Medical Health Facility succeeds. The Nurse Manager is responsible for many activities, personnel, and strategies besides programs.

The responsibilities of the manager range from those that are based on human resource, to those that entail the objectives and goals set in the delivery of nursing health services. The nurse ensures that the cardiac care unit is equipped to guarantee optimal service delivery (Kelly & Tazbir, 2014). For this, the nurse ensures an equitable human resource and the material resources within the facility.

She also has to ensure that the facility has been catered well by the human resource observant and managers who are concerned with ensuring a resource allocation and appropriation within the facility (Monaghan, 2011). The Nurse Manager ensures that the facility has set priorities. She participates in the generation, formulation, implementation, analysis, and assessment of the nursing practices, objectives, and goals. She is responsible for the smooth transitional process that enables all the nurses and any other personnel within the organization to work well.

Besides, she ensures that the other nurses have adhered to the professional conduct and regulations (Roussel, 2013). The nurse manager ensures that every nurse has been assigned some specific functions to achieve and that they are working towards these targets, with all the necessary resources provided to them. Moreover, the nurse manager works with other heads within the health facility, and develop programs, policies, strategies, goals, and objectives to ensure that the cardiac progressive care unit experiences some challenges as it serves its patients.

The nurse manager is like working all the day and all the time. There is no specific time that the nurse manager is at the office and outside. The nurse manager professionally works with other nurse managers to ascertain delivery of quality services to the patients. The nurse manager ensures that the nursing activities within the organization are up to the standards required.

The manager ensures that the health facility observes all the required nursing standards and that the patients' needs at the cardiac unit are met at all times (Kelly & Tazbir, 2014). She ensures that the work progress is updated. Besides, she participates in the documentation of the nursing activities like nursing research and journal development.

Moreover, the roles extend to include ensuring that the organization is on track, working within the updated rules and regulations, and developing programs that are geared towards the achievement of the existing activities and health facilitation at the place of work. The nurse manager goes to information. The manager reads and understands the available standard procedures. The nurse manager updates the superiors and those working under him or her.

The nurse manager is responsible for upgrading the capabilities of the nurses, ensuring that there are a regulated growth and development of knowledge within the nursing facility (Kelly & Tazbir, 2014). The entire process of management begins with the manager developing a close relation with all those involved in the delivery of service.

Besides this, the nurse manager ensures that the organization is working as per the established ethical standards set and that every nurse and every other personnel within the facility is equitable to the tasks. It is necessary that every service delivery process is done with the right procedures and professionalism, which is the responsibility of the nurse manager to assure the health facility at all times (Monaghan, 2011). Communication The health facility is responsible for many roles. All these roles have been classified under specific objectives and goals.

These assessment and oversight created by the superiors within the facility ensure that every individual, right to the lowest ranking, has a role specifically to play towards a realization of the universal goals and objectives. The communication up starts with the junior members of the health facility. These are nurses on the exact services, interacting with the clients on a daily or minute-by-minute basis. They record information from the clients. They observe the clients and make resounding recordings that will be used to make communications up the ladder.

The junior nurses report to the departmental heads of the nurses. Within the department are many head nurses who run different units within the health facility. Some are responsible for different classifications of services within the unit while others ensure that the nurse's ethical conduct and principles are observed. Others ensure the welfare of the clients is well accounted for at all times. These departments receive data or reports from the nurses serving at their respective specialties.

The head nurses here report to the unit managers, who in turn report to the nurse manager. The nurse manager reports to the senior facility manager who interacts with the executive officers of the health facility or facilities within the region or the state (Kelly & Tazbir, 2014). Downward communication starts with these chief executes who pass on specific decisions and options for her to pass them to the supervisors, unit managers, nurses, and all the other subordinate staff within the health facility. All these two types of communication happen interchangeably.

In addition, an interactive communication happens horizontally within the organization. Every nurse has space to communicate with another nurse. Such communication could be professional, based on work activities, or just communication that is social within the facility. Service delivery also requires nurses to communicate with patients who are their important clients. The manager has to cover every department and convert every objective into roles. She is responsible for many roles. Nonetheless, what happens most in such cases is the aspect of task delegation.
