I cannot even imagine what will evolve in the next few decades, but I know that the advances will be awesome. I hope that we use them to make our lives better and to be more creative, and I hope we do not allow them to take over even more of our lives and draw us apart from each other. I think that technology like the Wii and other games have helped bring some families closer together, and I would like that trend to continue. We rely on technology for our jobs, and I am sure that will improve in the future, but I would like to see it make families and people closer, rather than isolating them like computer use can do today. I hope that technology does not become so advanced that we forget how to relate to each other in person, because that is an important part of live, and an important part of overall happiness.
I think this book made me look at technology in a different way. I, like so many others, generally take it for granted, but in reality, technology is an important part of...
Technology is good, but like anything else, if there is too much of it, it can be overwhelming and even damaging. Everyone knows a game addict or computer wizard that spends all his or her free time on the computer, and I do not think that is healthy or even desirable. I think that technology can become addicting, and that people can get so used to it that they do not take time to build relationships or care about others, and that is dangerous.
I think if I take one thing away from this book, it is that I would like to be more creative in my life, and that I hope technology helps us be more creative in the future. I want to look at other ways to do things, and to not be so incredibly connected to technology, especially social networking. I think that I want to develop relationships with others in person, and not just online, and I want to see what comes in the future, but not rely on it for everything in my life.
Future Issues That Will Impact Employee Training Applying knowledge gained in the course The emerging trends in workforce demography of any organizations are fundamental to determining the future of employee training. Hiring and training of employees significantly determines the success and future progress of any organization (Bradley, 2011). There is a difference between hiring and training processes. While an employer may hire qualified workers, it is not what the curriculum vitae is
Predicting the future is not easy, but using past and current trends is the right way to go. At least that will allow those who are making the decisions to be sure that they have considered everything in the best light possible before they choose which direction to take. Planning and Change in Rapid Development One of the main issues with change management and future planning for long-term care facilities right
This is making it difficult for the world community to work together on issues such as nuclear proliferation. (Lewis) (Montgomery) (Zariff) The main reason is because China has built several pipelines going from Iran into their country. This is providing them with the resources (i.e. oil and natural gas), which are helping to fuel continuing economic growth and the development of Chinese markets. At the same time, the increased amounts
The governments of China clearly believe that if they do not ban shows where the premise is based on the voting then it could lead their citizens to want the right to vote in the government on their own opinions. The influence that television has, in this case by indirectly helping Chinese citizens move in the direction of being slightly more "democratic," is seen as a threat- it is
Future of Managed Care Medical facilities have become much more important today than they were ever before. The complex diseases are treated by treatment methodologies and the equipment that were nonexistent a few decades ago. But these facilities have also increased in the cost of treatment. The medical facilities thus need to find ways in which a patient can be offered services without over-burdening him. The financial and economic situation of
He doesn't mention Apple's iPod, iPod Touch, and iPad, but those devices also pose a challenge for traditional radio broadcasting. People can "…select music that suits their individual tastes and many have wider repositories of music in their own libraries" -- thanks to the iTunes and similar services -- than are offered on the playlists of radio broadcasters (Picard, p. 1). Moreover, Satellite and Internet radio are offering "hundreds of
