Gifts Exemplified / some of the best presents are those that cost the least

Presents that come from the heart and have special meaning for the recipient are better than presents that are more expensive. Non-material gifts are the best of all because they provide recipient with lessons that remain with them for an entire lifetime.

Sentimental gifts

Gifts that have a special meaning for the recipient

Gifts the remind the recipient of a special bond or time in their lives

An anniversary gifts that celebrates marriage by providing the recipient with a taken of the anniversary such as a napkin or candle that was saved from the wedding reception.

A photograph from a family vacation or a special event can be an appreciated gift and bring back fund memories happy family experiences.

Presents that are not material in nature

A. Gifts that seek to eliminate a feeling of entitlement through teaching that entitlement is not a desirable quality to possess.

Instead of giving children a material gift a lesson scan be offered instead. The lesson will attempt to teach that one is never entitled to receive anything. All presents that are given should be treated with respect.
2. Children should also be taught the importance of being thankful for what they have and that some children never receive any gifts because they are disadvantaged. With this in mind a trip to a homeless shelter to give away toys or to assist in feeding the hungry. This type of gift teaches life lessons that will last long after a material gift has deteriorated and is no longer useful.
