I tend to use my common sense rather than personal prejudice when making ethical decisions.

My ethical reasoning entails that I would carefully consider any ethical issue before making a decision about it. One major limitation involved in this is the fact that others may perceive me as morally weak. A morally strong character tends to be one that is immediate in ethical decisions. I would therefore not be able to make immediate decisions such as those required of judges or surgeons.
It is therefore unlikely that I would thrive in a profession that is very clear and immediate with regard to its need for specific ethical decisions. I would be better in a profession that is not as dependent upon immediate decisions.

I do not need to be in a medical or legal profession in order to live to my full potential as an ethical individual. I like to believe that everybody has good motives for what they do, even though this may seem immoral at first.
For the future, I believe that my ethical viewpoints will serve me well in terms of providing the world with an open-minded viewpoint. It is important to determine all possible facets of a situation before an ethical situation is assessed. The only problem is that the professions in which ethics matter most, such as medicine and the law, are also those that require quick ethical decision-making. Nevertheless, it is my belief that people like me can make a substantial difference to a world in which true ethics often takes a subordinate position to speed and efficiency in business. I would like to see a world in which ethics receives due consideration rather than uniform and speedy decisions.
