Paper Overview

This observational study examines cloud formation patterns and atmospheric conditions over a two-day period in February 2025. The research documents the transition from cumulus cloud formations in calm morning conditions to cirrus cloud patterns during evening hours with changing atmospheric pressure. The observations highlight the relationship between cloud types, weather patterns, and environmental conditions in natural meteorological systems.

How to write this type of paper

Natural observation essays combine scientific methodology with descriptive writing to document environmental phenomena. This format requires systematic observation, detailed recording, and analytical interpretation of natural processes.

What Makes This Paper Effective

  • Uses systematic daily observations to establish patterns and changes
  • Incorporates specific meteorological terminology and cloud classification
  • Documents environmental conditions including temperature, wind, and wildlife activity

Core Writing Technique

This essay demonstrates observational methodology by recording specific atmospheric conditions, cloud types, and environmental factors across multiple time periods. The systematic approach includes visual documentation, meteorological classification, and contextual environmental observations to create a comprehensive weather study.

As indicated in image 1, the clouds I observed in the morning were cumulus clouds. These were largely white clouds set against a blue sky background. Birds were still quite active at this time, but not as active as they were an hour earlier. It was a rather calm morning with no breeze. It felt calm.

As indicated in image 2, the clouds I observed in the evening were cirrus clouds. The colours I observed in this case were bright hues of orange scattered across the clouds against a somewhat light blue sky background. Birds were less active at this time than they were in the morning. There was a light breeze. It was starting to get a little bit cold.
