Jane Goodall studied a diverse set of chimpanzees in their native environment within the wilds of Africa. Roger Flouts studied chimpanzees in a foreign environment within laboratories throughout disparate locations in the United States. Both of the these researchers were able to obtain key information about these animals, which is enclosed in this document.

There are several issues germane to the family structure within the U.S. that are considered within this document. The issue of marriage is evaluated largely within the context of same sex marriages, which appears to be gaining prevalence. Bullying Prevention Researchers have found that bullying in Elementary, Middle and Secondary school has significant effects on the victim, bully, school environment and community. In addition, bullying can lead to even more violent behavior. Consequently, researchers and social scientists have studied bullying, developed institutional programs to combat bullying and worked to have those programs implemented worldwide. One of the most famous anti-bullying programs is the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, first developed in Norway and eventually modified and applied in schools around the globe. Along with the Olweus program, the U.S. has 9 other nationally approved programs to reduce bullying, and programs such as these have significantly reduced the percentage of bullies and victims in schools.
