To that end, and in order to trace the habits of giving of this class, the following essay mentions an interesting study that was conducted in Indonesia regarding the giving habits of professors and lecturers in an Islamic university. It proceeds to details the results of that study and concludes by suggesting that the study would be effectively paralleled by a corollary one on an institution in America – or in some other Western country that has a sizable Islamic population.
