This paper focuses on the perception of masculinity within the Wilhelmina German Empire, mainly during 1880-1914. The goal is to prove the high importance the reserve officers had in civil society as the link between the military and society, especially for upper classes. Therefore, these reserve officers were one important key to the German militarism before and even during the First World War. This fixation on military behavior, behavior codes, honor, mental and physical fitness was influenced by nationalistic and anti-Semitic thoughts, too, and also influenced these.

The role of teachers and leaders is very important because they are the ones who tackle with all students on daily basis, they are responsible to inform about every stakeholders about the performance of schools. Nina Joblonski opens by commenting on Darwin's pigmentation and his upbringing. She further speaks of his voyage on the Beagle and his interest in the pigmentation of humans. Darwin did not believe that there was any correlation to skin pigmentation and climate. However, Joblonski points out that if Darwin had access to NASA satellites that he may have come to a different conclusion. One of NASA's satellites has capabilities to monitor the Earth's radiation close to the surface. As a result, researchers today have been able to study skin pigmentation and the exposure to solar radiation and find that there is a perfect gradient and strong correlation between the two.
