William James saw the human psyche as being awesomely complex. To start off with, he divided it into two selves: • The phenomenal self (the experienced self, the 'me' self, the self as known) • The self-thought (the I-self, the self as knower). There is the ‘ME' which is the objective, detached term that we use – that we see – the empirical self. And then there is the ‘I' the constant flow of subjective thought that the person has about the self and which makes the person perceive the self, moment per moment, in a certain way: 'Personality implies the incessant presence of two elements, an objective person, known by a passing subjective Thought and recognized as continuing in time. Hereafter let us use the words ME and I for the empirical person and the judging Thought.' (James (1890), op. cit., Vol. 1, p. 371.)

No public school in the United States is so perfectly administered that is cannot be improved. Dunn School in Trenton, New Jersey, is certainly not close to being perfect but there are signs that the school is improving.

In Federalist 10, James Madison discussed the types of factions, parties and interest groups that result from differences in wealth and property, as well as differences of opinion in religion, politics or ideology. He thought that differences in wealth and rank, at least those not based on birth, were determined by the diversity in faculties or abilities in human beings, and that government had to protect such diversity. Certainly, the two major political parties that exist today have significant differences by social class, religion, race, region and income, although there are also a huge number of factions, associations, lobbyists and interest groups outside of these parties.

This paper is a demographic profile of Pearland High School, one of the high schools serving the community of Pearland, Texas. The school is profiled with a focus on its multicultural environment. Factors are listed which both support and inhibit an atmosphere of tolerance amongst members of the student body. The school is seen as a reflection of the attitudes of the larger, rather polarized community of Pearland and the larger Houston area.

Abstract Recruitment is one of the vital concepts within an organization. It focuses on the acquisition or promotion of employees for the purposes of the achievement of the goals and targets of an organization. There are various forms of recruitment available at the disposal of the organization in accordance with the needs and demands of the entity. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the concept of staffing an organization. This relates to the examination of the concept of competency modeling, external recruitment, and other methods of recruitment
