This paper consists of an examination of the town of Stafford, Virginia. It questions the ethnic composition of this location and what racial or prejudicial components may be at work in the community. I was able to determine that the majority of the population of the community was white and thus the majority of media portrayal and policital power was invested in Caucasian peopel.

While the recently completed multimillion dollar facilities expansion project has undoubtedly increased De Anza College's regional influence and enhanced the institution's ability to attract quality students, in our breathless rush towards progress certain public safety measures have been neglected. The completion of the Off-Campus Dorm unit has undoubtedly enabled a greater number of upperclassmen to make the campus area of Cupertino their home, however, the location of this residence hall may result in unnecessary injuries or deaths due to traffic collisions. Because the Off-Campus Dorm is situated north of Stevens Creek Boulevard, one of the city's more heavily trafficked eight-lane thoroughfares, a significant number of students are now forced to cross this busy street during their daily commutes from dorm to campus.

Ethics is a very significant issue in all businesses because it illustrates the moral values of any given business, according to an article in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Business Administration.

Father figures all across the world embody a phenomenon which encompasses all attributes of a role model. They are meant to stand for discipline, caution, protection, guidance, and of course, love. The perfect amalgamation of all these can be found in the patriarch of any household, or any culture, for that matter. As such, the perfect patriarchal example is nothing short of a literary archetype. From Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" to Puzo's "The Godfather" we can find numerous examples of father figures establishing the age-old belief in fatherly conduct.

People differ in their views and actions when they are responsible for them and when not. Particularly speaking in the context of society and group, people tend to adopt the most favorable behavior so that they are cherished for success and not blamed for failure. The psychological behavior changes from situation to situation.

This paper is on conflict resolution. The human being is an unpredictable living being and the most vulnerable too. There are millions of dimensions in which it has been studied. But every dimension has its own sub dimensions. Conflict is one part of it which is a deep rooted discussion which may lead a person in a state of anger, sadness, coma, anxiety, frustration, madness, depression, tension and much more. One can think how a person gets sad and angry at one moment. It is human, when he is not able doing something he/she becomes sad and get angry why he/she cannot be able to do. The feeling of helplessness is the factor that plays a part here.

Abstract The use of ecstasy amongst ravers has become a very distressing trend in the United States. Ecstasy is a synthetic psychoactive drug assigned the scientific term 3, 4-methylenedioxy-methamphetamine. In view of the pervasive abuse of the drug, the primary objective of this study is to create a non-profit organization is to provide authentic, unbiased information highlighting the dangers of excessive consumption of ecstasy. As part of the study, a fictitious non-profit organization identified as Responsible Ravers will focus on reducing the number of people overdosing at raves by urging them to make better decisions and stay safe and healthy. Responsible Ravers enforces a new dynamic of change as espoused in Kotter and Cohen's The Heart of Change Real: Life Stories of How People Change Their Organizations. Kotter and Cohen refer to this model of change as the "see-feel-change" dynamic. The see-feel-change model stimulates action, sparking people's emotions by showing them persuasive reasons for change. This model of change draws from eight steps towards effective change.

This is an essay on System One and Two (Kahneman). System One is the instinctive primitive system that compels biased subjective thinking. It is the type of thinking that is prejudicial and irrational but happens so fast and subconsciously that I am unaware of it. System One is the system that is unhelpful for researchers and is the type of thinking that we wish to avoid. Recognizing that my instinctive split-second decision making shares these characteristics will make me all the more conscientious of trying to avoid it. We have a tendency moreover to assert that we are not biased, non-prejudicial, and so forth. Awareness of this ripple of instinctive reaction that is hardly, if at all, registered by us can make us think otherwise. It may be, after all, that we are subjective and judgmental even without our realizing it. Knowledge of this dual system, can, consequently, help us in our research by making us less smug about our alleged objectivity and by making us more careful to be as objective as possible.

People in the position of power have the authority to influence the world around them. With this power should come responsibility. Those with the power to change the world must stand behind their actions.

Individual choice has perhaps been one of the most important aspects of the United States' Bill of Rights. Indeed, it is part and parcel of liberty, the principle upon which the country has been built since its inception.
