The boom of the housing sector had come crashing with the depression of 2008-2009 when the whole globe tottered under economic instability. The problems stem from the market reactions and the general condition of the industry during the depression. The economy has not yet recovered and the problems that were created in the 2009 scenario continue even now. In 2009, many problems were identified and predicted for the house building sector both in the UK and for the Northern Ireland construction firms from 2010 because of the recession and subsequently many firms were forced ironically to ‘enter into an individual voluntary arrangement with its bank and creditors to stay afloat'.

Technologcial Imperative (TI) in the age of Information Technology (IT) offers many questions and issues that did not always arise in the past about the meaning of work, purpose and meaning. Still, it is clear there remains a bias against anything that is readily accepted without good business or logical reasons. And yet some of the most impressive financial, medical and even technological changes (by companies like Apple) are intuitively developed. The question remains open about TI in the era of IT.

Addressing the financial health of a company is most often accomplished through a 10-K statement. This paper examines that statement for Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and addresses that the information tells others about the future security of the company. Several different methods of analyses are used to determine what the company can expect in the coming years.
