Counselling is a broad subject and as such, constitutes different areas of study application and practice. Additionally it is classified using a variety of methods one being the techniques applied with reference to the practices of counselling. This paper explores the different aspects of counselling with main reference to specific techniques and their association with one another. The counselling techniques in focus here are the Humanistic, cognitive and Neo-psychoanalytic approaches whose use in the field of psychology is widespread.

Following an unusual and an unexpected event, that is stressful, such as being diagnosed with cancer, one may develop characteristic symptoms that may differ slightly from person to person.

Kuali Financial Systems (KFS) are a grouping of financial software applications that were designed, according to the company, to meet the needs of Carnegie Class Institutions. It is based on Indiana University's Financial Information Systems and is unique because, like some open source software, it is a collaborative effort and approach to financial needs, design, and reporting of financial documents. The software is free, in use by institutions of all sizes, has been proven in the marketplace to comply with professional auditing standards, and may be implemented and supported by various commercial partners.

As the global economy becomes more of a reality, and as various developing countries increase the amount of business they do with developed countries, many cultural issues arise. Doing business is not the same worldwide, and as citizens of a global village, we must realize that there are different cultural norms and behaviors that are acceptable in some countries, unacceptable in others, and even expected in some. International companies are being pressurized by different groups of people, mainly from their stakeholders, regarding social and ethical issues. Issues revolving around what the United States government calls "bribery" may indeed be part of doing business, yet cause us to ask: "Is it moral or not, when trading in a foreign country, to participate in immoral actions to survive"?

Concept analysis is indicated by Walker and Avant (2010) as a technique of describing real phenomena in the realms of nursing practice. Concept analysis is noted by Walker & Avant (2005, pg. 63) to "allows the theorist, researcher, or clinician to come to grips with the various possibilities within the concept of interest". Walker and Avant (2010) developed a special eight step process to be employed in content analysis. These eight steps are what we employ in this paper in the investigation of the assumption of self-care by adolescents suffering from Type 1 diabetes Mellitus.

In today's competitive pharmaceutical drug market there are more and more factors that are influencing brick and mortar pharmacies in their endeavor to stay viable. One area in which pharmacies are competing hard is that of generic drugs. It is these drugs that pharmacies are using to lure people in the door in hopes that they buy other products besides their drugs.

Following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and the erratic responses to the Hurricane Katrina disaster in 2005, critical incident management has become the focus of a growing body of research. In addition, there is an ongoing need for timely and effective responses to manmade and natural disasters, and improved approaches continue to be identified. To gain some fresh insights into current critical incident management, this paper reviews three studies concerning a coordinated multi-disciplinary response to a critical incident as well as the National Incident Management System. A review of a final article concerning response and management of a chemical, biological, radiological and explosive incident is followed by a summary of the research and a description concerning how the research contributes to knowledge in these areas.
