The "Panic of 1819", as it is commonly referred to in the literature, was considered the first financial crisis in the United States. To this day, many of the factors attributed to the cause of the crisis are hotly debated among scholars. The case is especially interesting however because of the contemporary financial crisis that originated in 2008 and is still plaguing the population today. Many, if not all, the factors associated with the financial crises seem remarkably similar. Therefore, it is prudent to study the history of such events in order to better understand the current events that are unfolding before our eyes. This paper will provide a brief analysis of some of the factors that were involved in the Panic of 1819 – America's very first financial crisis.

The film is a documentary that was filmed over several decades and details the life of one woman (N!ai), member of the Ju/'hoan tribe of the !Kung (bushmen) in modern-day Namibia. Abstract The research review of scholarly articles reveals that a management philosophy is essential to the success of an organization. Organization runs and works based on defined specific objectives, and the role of management to direct efforts and resources towards the achievement of these objectives. Over the decades, different management approaches and strategies have been formulated in an attempt to find the most suitable approach that can effectively and sustainably direct towards achievement of organizational strategies. In this review, the Management by Objective approach by Kralev (2011), mission-driven management by Wang (2011), Chinese Confucian Philosophy by He (2011), and moral and ethical management by Dierksmeier (2011) are discussed.
