Aside from Malaria and other life threatening diseases, AIDS constitutes one of the major concerns within the African continent. Political participation in matters as serious as this cannot go without being noticed. Politics in Africa is part of the HIV/AIDS epidermis and plays a role not only in the prevention of the diseases .Cultural, literacy, economic, and social factors are some of the phenomenon known to propagate the problems. Provided that politics in Africa are not positive, corruption will continue to advance and such initiatives hindered from seeing any progress in the entire region.Response to the AIDS pandemic in the African Region has also witness the participation of foreign governments, Non-Governmental Organizations and humanitarian bodies among others.

The objective of this study is to examine the self-leadership style of the writer of this work. This work will identify the key characteristics that represent the writer's strengths as a nurse leader and identify the areas of professional development that is needed to be worked on in order to further develop leadership abilities. This work will additionally describe how the writer of this work's unique characteristics will support change in the workplace, and how they may create barriers to change. Finally, this work will describe what other types of styles that should be sought out for the leadership team or in other words, what types of leadership styles will work well with the leadership style of the writer of this work.

What detracted or hindered participants from successfully completing the activity?

The organization at focus in this nursing change project and the nursing managers in cohesion implemented an evidence-based nursing practice model in the health care organization. As noted in the work of Keele (nd) there has been several models that have provided contributions on the conceptual level to the implementation of evidence-based nursing. One of these models is the Stetler model (Stetler, 2001), also included is the Iowa model (Titler, et al, 2001), the John Hopkins Evidence-Based Practice Model (Newhouse, et al, 2007), the ACE Star Model (Stevens, 2004), the Caledonian Development Model (Tolson, Booth & Lowendes, 2008), and the Evidence-Based Practice Model for Staff Nurses (Reavy & Tavernier, 2008). (p.75) The project described in this work in writing is reported as being effective and successful in the provision of health care to more patients and relieving the nursing staff of the work overload of traveling to several schools to conduct health care assessment and treatment. The nursing staff benefits from the telemedicine program but as well, the patient population benefits in that they no longer have such a long wait to see the nurse since telemedicine allows quicker access to the diagnosis and treatment provisions.

This is a three page research paper. It is about a book called Reclaiming the Sky, by Tom Murphy. The book is about the aeronautical industry's response to September 11. Although it is told in anecdotal format, the book provides a springboard to discuss the broader issues in aviation that were related to the response to the September 11 crisis. Several outside sources are used.

This work in writing analyzes a case study on the Texas Roadhouse restaurant and the methods that the organization utilizes in motivating its employees. The Texas Roadhouse abides by the principle that if it treats its employees well, then the employees will treat the customers well and this adheres to the old adage that states that the best teacher is an excellent example.
