This essay discusses a scientific article which explores the relationship between the intake of fatty acids and the development of colorectal cancer. Researchers conducted a case control study of nearly 3000 people and, using weekly questionnaires, calculated whether the intake of certain fatty acids increased the chances of developing colorectal cancer. INTRODUCTION The ensuring of the fact that an organization is working as per regulations and is following the code of conduct, while keeping the interest of the public first, are matters which are becoming more and more complicated with the passage of time. Therefore, it can be said with some emphasis, that today one of the most basic issues of many organizations is the issue of Transparency. Transparency has been defined as being "characterized by visibility of accessibility of information concerning business practices". More and more companies are now realizing that in the time and age in which we live, living with these models of ethics is compulsory, if they want to have credibility in the general public.

Snort was created by Martin Roesch in 1998. Sourcefire, Inc. is the company that provides Snort. Roesch is the founder and Chief Technical Officer of Sourcefire, Inc. Snort is free of charge. In 2009, InfoWorld entered Snort into its Open Source Hall of Fame as one of the greatest pieces of open source software of all time. Granted, the Internet has not existed as long as ancient ruins, yet still the accolade comes with a certain sense of gravity. The paper describes the primary traits and uses for Snort. The paper attempts to expose Snort's strengths and weaknesses as well as imagine the implementation in a relevant, yet hypothetical professional situation.
