This essay discusses a scientific article which explores the relationship between the intake of fatty acids and the development of colorectal cancer. Researchers conducted a case control study of nearly 3000 people and, using weekly questionnaires, calculated whether the intake of certain fatty acids increased the chances of developing colorectal cancer.
