While the analytical literature and official statistics describing workers with disabilities in the U.S. is vast and expanding, very few studies report statistics on workers with disabilities by firm size, and very few report statistics on workers with disabilities below the State level, whereas this dissertation tests hypotheses about workers with disabilities at the metropolitan statistical area level, in large and small firms.
