In the event of a bomb threat it will be imperative that the heating/cooling unit in the hotel be shut off as well as all kitchen appliances, laundry facilities, and all systems attached to the swimming complex. Evacuation of guests and employees is a foremost consideration as well as shutting down of the hotel computer system. A team should be trained and assigned to evacuation in the event of this type of emergency...

Training for staff, assignments of duties and practice drills are a necessity in preparing the hotel for such a possible event if the securing and evacuation of the facilities is to be successful in preserving the lives of those present at the time of such emergency.
