Organizations are made of humans and thus they can be classified as human systems. Whenever an organization wants to develop and take one step ahead it is necessary that first the human element is satisfied. Organizations can be said to be dynamic structures. If the pieces that make it do not work together in harmony the organization will eventually shatter. For any organization to develop it is quite important that changes be bought about to it on a regular basis, not only in the overall strategies but also operational tactics and other practices. Any changes that are put to place must be in sync with the diversity of the workplace.

These changes involve changes in decision making, management style, the way information flows within the workplace etc. Organizational restructuring helps re deploy talent within the firm. It helps identify where talent can be best utilized and whether or not existing employees are fit for their jobs or not and whether they should be given a new task or not.
Organization restructuring is done in order to gain valuable information. This can be information as to knowing about a job fit and how to assign and align talent within the business in such a way so as to maximize performance. Companies need to make sure that they are as or more competitive in relation to their peers and thus they often have to make changes. If an organization believes that without change they can succeed in such a competitive environment it is highly likely that they will in the future become obsolete.
