The electric razor/shaver is a complex converter invention that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy for the purpose of rotating and vibrating various blades. At first glance it may seem a mystery as to how the energy is converted to effectively run this machine, but after some review and a little deconstruction, the entire process is easily explained and quite ingenious.

The electrical energy for the razor is extracted from an electrical outlet via a plug and chord that is connected to a charger. For most electrical razors, the average amount being sent through is 8 watts of power per day to charge. Those 8 watts are stored in the charger and transferred to the razor's battery which stores the electricity until the razor is used. This is where the electrical...

The board transfers a small charge to the green LED light, which signals that the razor is fully charged. As the razor loses power, the circuit board switches from green to red to signal the need to recharge.
The circuit board sends a larger charge from the battery to the electric motor. This charge triggers the motor to begin quickly rotating a small turbine. The turbine is attached to a small gear that turns very quickly in response to the turbine's power. This is what is considered the transfer from electrical to mechanical energy, as the mechanical components within the razor will now trigger various responses all powered…

If a hospital has a poor record of infections and patient falls, those patients who have a choice will avoid the hospital. So, as the hospitals begin recording and tracking the information, those that do not choose to improve lose patients (HQA 2011). Contrary wise, those hospitals that remain on the cutting edge of improving the quality of care for patients are hospitals that will be sought after by
