Earth Science Scientists believe that the current warming of the planet is because of human activity because science has been politicized to a large extent, which has in turn led to economic changes. Scientists point to the use of fossil fuels as an explanation for periods of climate warming; this attention allowed the carbon credit system to be put into place, where carbon credits are bought and sold by companies to ensure a tighter regulation of the use of fossil fuels (Kenton, 2020).

While technically one of the biggest contributors to greenhouse gases is cows and the methane they release (Lemonick, 2017), humans are still responsible for the agriculture and farming industries. Still, most science media puts the blame on fossil fuels—the carbon dioxide coming out of internal combustion engine cars and coal-burning factories. It is the reason Elon Musk’s Tesla, Inc., has attracted such a following. They believe that Musk is leading the transition to sustainable culture. But the reality is not exactly all these people are making it out to be. Musk’s cars still rely a great deal on petroleum for parts and the energy they consume comes from fossil...

But that is not even the point. The point is that cows contribute more pollution to the atmosphere than do humans. In fact, as Lemonick (2017) points out, “carbon dioxide usually gets the blame for global warming, but methane is about 85 times more powerful when it comes to trapping heat.”
However, it is not even really clear that the global warming is occurring. If one cherry picks the data over a certain number of years, a chart can be made to look like the earth is warming. But as Mish (2019) shows scientists who look at heatwaves increasing since 1960, arctic ice declining since 1979, wildfires increasing since 1983, and sea levels rising since 1920 are all cherry picking their data. If one goes back all the way to 1900, one sees that today’s heat waves are well below where they were in the first half of the 20th century. So rather than rising the trend is actually sloping downward over the past century. Wildfires, too, are far below the thirty year trend that occurred between 196 and 1946 (Mish, 2019). And the same is true with sea ice. Prior to 1975, sea ice levels were much…

Here, the mass of water is being pulled upward toward the atmosphere by its attraction to the moon. As it does so, the tide is pulled inward from the coastlines contained the body of water. As the moon moves closer to the earth during its daily rotation, the magnetic pull lessens. The diminished pull causes the bulge to decline, pushing the body of water outward and extending the coastlines. It

Continental tropical (cT) air masses are hot, dry, unstable at low levels and generally stable aloft (upper-level ridge); they originate in northern Mexico. Continental polar (cP) or continental arctic (cA) air masses are cold, dry, and stable originating over northern Canada and Alaska as a result of radiational cooling. (Oklahoma Climatological Survey, 2004)" The greenhouse effect has been in the news for the last several decades especially with the resulting

Earth Science Probably one of the biggest and longest fought wars between science and religion has been on the subject of whether the earth was created, as science says, with a massive explosion known as the big bang or within a span of six days as religion teaches us. Science looks into and probes at what is majorly unknown and religion has always done better than that. This paper will discuss

He points out that this observation brings together the usually disparate study of deep-seated magmatic processes and land-surface evolution." (Science Daily, 2007) Marsh's study has been conducted in McMurdo's Dry Valleys which is stated to be ideal for the study of these systems "because it was eroded into its present form millions of years ago and has, unlike the rest of the Earth's surface undergone very little subsequent erosion."

One of the cutest interactive game is found at www. http://www.earthsunmoon.co.uk/ earthsunmoon.co.uk. When you go to this site, you are invited to play a game, where you have to explore the sun, earth and moon to explain to an animated alien from an obscure planet. You first have to get through an asteroid belt by moving your spaceship, then you choose, the sun, moon or earth, and the program goes through

The Moon is believed by many to have been part of the earth and that it was tore off as a result of an initial spin that was too great to hold the planet together. One of the prevailing theories was that involving an impact of large magnitude involving the newly formed Earth and a giant object of the size of Mars hitting Earth and blowing up material that
