One change that has taken place in my facility is the shift from the traditional system of communication, which was based on the manual transmission of information from the sender to the receiver to what is today a digital and online system involving cloud communication and storage. The restraining forces for this change have been many. Awareness had to be disseminated to the participants through regular training, which has often taken the credible amount of time and resources from the organization.
Getting rid of the old system of communication and adopting, the new system has seen the facility spent many finances on resources and installation processes, something that has not been direct of benefit to the facility (Kearney-Nunnery, 2016). Many practitioners had gotten used to the old system and always find it hard to embrace and focus on the new system completely. The systematic production process has been low since the adoption of this system as the facility operators are still learning it gradually.
The driving forces have been limited but soundly influential. This change is a necessity as the world is going global through the embrace of the new forms of technology and innovation. Production within the facility has to be updated and upgraded to suit modern ways of production for it to succeed in the competitive environment (Kearney-Nunnery, 2016). Moreover, there is a perceived increase in facility effectiveness and production with the adoption of this new system of communication.
The excitement that comes with the embrace and use of the new systems of production also necessitated and ensured that this change was certain in the facility.
Question Two Specific environmental factors that could influence change in your setting • Air pollution or proximity to toxic sites • Access to various health-related like medical care • Community design and the "built environment" like transportation systems • Knowledge about the health trends in the region • Environmental susceptibility to the change in terms of consumer readiness and awareness Question Three The stakeholders in the facility include the corporate decision makers, the managers, and the producers who actually handle every bit of the production process, the professionals, and the consumers within the facility (Kearney-Nunnery, 2016).
Moreover, the stakeholders also include the consumers outside the facility, all of whom have influence in the production process within the facility. Everyone involved and affected in the process of disseminating the change is a facilitator and a stakeholder in the change process. Question Four I played the role of being a fact finder and information link in the organization. I was tasked with finding every individual factor that necessitated change.
I served as a detective, detecting every need, possibility, and process of change, influential factors, and all elements that necessitated change and ensured the change process has been successful (Kearney-Nunnery, 2016). During the implementation of the change, I created the need for change, created the awareness for the change, influenced the participants on everything related to the change, and ensured that I have to build a good reason for the people to see this change as necessary of benefit. I relayed.
