¶ … tried to make a personal Mandala by drawing it. I spent hours and hours, but the simple drawings could not do the trick for me. My drawings either seemed empty, not rich enough to represent the deepness and complexity of my feelings, and a bit simplistic. Then I tried to use Photoshop but ended up wasting a lot of my time on a software program I was not very familiar with. Finally, I began to look for examples online and came across the image I am posting here. This Mandala perfectly illustrates my character. It is the symbol of love and light and they go together well. Without looking at light and without love, one cannot achieve anything in life.

I specifically chose the Mandala that symbolizes both the light and love. It is in the shape of a sun-like figure and represents different lights and bright colors. Light in other way should be colorful. That is how I look at the life. I need to see the positives and look at the life with optimism. I try to do it most of the time. Since I know that looking at positives and seeing my own successes with optimism helps me achieve further success, I want to associate myself with this symbol. Light is also the antithesis of darkness and ignorance. In darkness, people cannot see well. One may stumble upon things on the ground and even be afraid to take the next step. Under the light, however, everything is visible and colorful. I also try to see different kinds of positives in my life. That is why the Mandala showing different colors is the perfect one. It is something I try to be and admire.
