Wellness and Fitness Company will be established as a non-profit organization in the city of Portland, which has a relatively high population of adolescents with obesity. The overall objective/goal of this non-profit organization is to reach out to the most possible low income family to participate in the program’s activity since the value of this initiative is to reduce obesity among adolescents in that category of people. As a non-profit organization, Wellness and Fitness Company will be established in partnership with Boise Eliot Elementary School, which has a large percentage of African American student population. The new non-profit organization seeks to implement a nutrition and fitness program into the daily routine for students and their parents to embark on in order to reduce adolescent obesity in the region. This paper discusses the implementation plan as well as evaluation and control for this new non-profit organization.
