1.0. Operational Readiness Testing (ORT)
2.0. Overall Objective
The overall objective will in this case be the attainment of 90% to 100% on the first day of ORT.
3.0. Other Objectives
· Avoid mistakes that frustrated our attainment of 90% to 100% mark during the last year.
· Have in place a robust system that supports our overall objective.
4.0. Key Deliverables
Implement the schedule in good time so as to ensure that we have fair understanding of the critical items for testing in sequence. This is of great relevance given the need to ensure that Start-up PM and 3PL can plan to have the modules ready for testing on the first day with no missing aspects.
5.0. Measuring the Deliverables
5.1. Pre-Assessment
This is of great relevance when it comes to the determination of the extent to which critical elements or facets are in place. These factors could include, but they are not limited to, specific targets of change, properly stated end state, etc.
5.2. Implementation Checklist
This would come in handy in the proper implementation of the end state. A systematic approach would be adopted.
5.3. A Robust Feedback Mechanism
This would assist in not only readiness assessment, but also risk mitigation. The data gathered would inform remedial measures.
