Industry

The selected industry I am entering is the steel industry. This industry is a robust one which is involved in enormous monetary transactions every year, practically since the formula for rendering steel (the Bessemer process) was discovered by Thomas Bessemer (Misa, 1995). The steel industry closely coincides with the manufacturing industry, since steel is utilized in the manufacturing of a number of different products and services (Ruddick, 2016). Career Path

I would ideally like to intern at a factory in which steel is constructed. This way, I would be sure to learn the process of creating steel, which is a value to anyone hoping to pursue a long-term career in this field (such as myself). After attaining an entry-level position with the company for which I intern -- or possibly another, depending on what sort of opportunities are available, I would like a managerial position to lead the company someday.

2. There are additional skills, credentials, and other forms of training that could very well be required to…
