Statement of Interest
Dear Bauer Graduate Women's Network,
I am thrilled to submit my statement of interest for the Director of Finance position. As a financial leader with over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, I can confidently say that I have the skills and expertise needed to excel at this position.
Indeed, after carefully reviewing the role descriptions, its no exaggeration to state that I can do it all. Over the course of my career, I have handled all financial affairs, maintained necessary accounting records, prepared monthly financial reports, and managed budgets in my career. You name it, Ive done it. Moreover, I am well-versed in fundraising, and have a practical, real-world understanding of auctions, raffles, and fund drives, having partnered with local businesses on numerous occasions in the past. In short, Ive been there, done that.
What really motivates me to volunteer for this role, however, is my belief that women should support one another. Women supporting women is a cause close to my heart, and I am always on the lookout for an opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful group of women. I believe in the power of networking, collaboration, and empowerment, and I am eager to contribute my skills and experience to help the Bauer Graduate Women's Network achieve its goals.
With my extensive knowledge, I feel that I can pay it forward and make a meaningful impact on the organization. I am committed to working collaboratively with the board and ensuring that all decisions are made with the utmost integrity and transparency, requiring approval from the President and Vice President.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the Bauer Graduate Women's Network and make a positive difference.
Sincerely,
