For centuries, philosophers have puzzled the human condition. Questions abound about why humans act the way they do, why they form groups, what role cultural and social norms have for learning, how societies form, the nature of society, social change, and the way integration and alienation fit in with modern societies

The counseling profession requires strict ethical principles guiding the relationship between the client and the practitioner. This must always exist because the counselor oftentimes encounters top-secret experiences from the client, which have to be safeguarded from landing to the wrong hands. This identifies the principles to include beneficence, fidelity, and autonomy among others. The study also recommends the need of embracing diversity in the counseling profession.

Moby-Dick, the 1851 novel by Herman Melville, tells a tale of a fanatical Captain expedition for reprisal on a strange whale, which robbed him of his legs. Captain Ahab's pursuit for revenge becomes a fatal and a bitter failure. The self-asserted speaker, Ishmael, signs with Ahab's ship and offer the reader an analysis of the events that takes place besides providing information about the whale's anatomy. In every chapter of the novel, the reader unveils something regarding the temperament of man and his relationship to the nature. The story explores the different links between nature and man. The desire to take revenge against the whale represents one of the negative links between nature and man. Besides, Ahab and the whale, other characters in the narrative appear to hold different means of comprehending and living in the natural world. Some of these characters depict deference for the strength of nature; others are in trepidation of nature while others view nature as an assortment of resources usable for profit. Apparently, nature is crucial and dominant, hence an unconquerable character in the novel. From this prospect, this paper explores the relation between man and nature besides underscoring how nature displays a strong force in the novel. The focus of the paper will be achieved through ascertaining the similarities between Job and Ahab/Ishmael in their refusal and acceptance of supernatural powers, and how vacillating hand of fate contributed in developing the plot of the story.

Abstract Hypertension is very rampant in African Americans and health providers link it with three major chronic diseases, which include; stroke, kidney and heart diseases. This paper examines the incidence of hypertension in African Americans, particularly, biological and intrapersonal subsystem of the SDS Assessment Categories. African Americans suffer high risks of organ damage as well as stroke and heart diseases, caused by hypertension. Health providers, especially nurses, ought to be very practical in identifying hypertension in African Americans and increase their aggressiveness in regulating and treating person(s). In addition, health providers should focus in providing health education in order to reduce and prevent mortality and morbidity rate in the African Americans suffering from hypertension.

The level of investment in a country can be necessary for determining the economic growth in the country. The capital can be through financial assistance, or in the form of technological resources. Investments in infrastructure in the telecommunication sector attract most of the foreign direct investments in the developing nations. Foreign direct investments are not strictly financial in nature. Foreign direct investments can be in the form of technology. Long-term success of a country relies on a thriving private sector of that country. This body ought to be a facilitator for private investments rather than a bureaucracy, which investors have to overcome. An investment promotion agency is a body that aims at encouraging private investors to make investments in a country. Developing countries have given priorities to investment in state-of-art-equipment as well as new form of technology at hospitals among other health facilities. Enhancing trade liberalization policies and demand augmenting, infrastructural improvements and maintenance of political and macroeconomic stabilities as will be addressed in the research are major ingredients of policy packages, which help in promoting private investments in Iran. One of the factors that determine the extent to which private investment will be able to contribute to a country will depend on various factors including the success of policy measures that the developing countries are planning to adopt.

Abstract The social inequality dimensions of class, sex, marriage, same-sex marriage, and gender exist from set and identifiable criteria of social scientists. These dimensions are used by social scholars to assess and evaluate the level of social inequality in any community. In the process, social scientists have emphasized these dimensions as interdependent and the definition of social boundaries, making them acceptable as borders of social relevance. For this reason, dimensions like gender and sex inequalities exist from the social relevance created by history, tradition, culture, and religion. This research finds that the definition of social inequality in terms of gender, class, race, sex, and marriage is complex since these dimensions are complex. Complexity arises from their correlation, differences in perspectives, and perspective of individuals and society on social inequality.

Nuclear and WMD threat has been growing significantly in the recent past especially with the coming of terror groups like Al Qaeda. Questions have been raised on the possibility of the fact that the US government is spending too much money fighting an unworthy cause. This study provides evidence of such allegations whilst elucidating the role of intelligence in preventing possible WMD attacks.
