Japanese-American Biopharmaceutical Industry in the 21st Century

I am writing with regard to Kate Chopin's short story "The Story of an Hour". I chose to write concerning this topic because of its complexity. The fact that the story is set in the nineteenth century in a society that is inclined to discriminate women makes it possible for readers to understand why the protagonist puts across particular attitudes.

The Baroque was a style expressed in art, music, architecture and even literature from the Age of Discovery in the 16th century until the early 18th century. Most describe it as more dramatic, florid, embellished and a move away from the total religiosity of the Middle Ages and into a more secular and emotional, time frame. However, the spread of the Baroque in music, art and architecture was certainly tied to the spread of Catholicism and how art was used in the Church to help express emotion and tell the Biblical stories through painting or music for those not literate.

The Principle of Sufficient Reason as developed by theorists and philosophers points out that for every event, existence, occurrence, if that event or occurrence took place and is real, they there must be a reason and proof for that occurrence to be real. More precisely, the theory appeals to the need to explain and justify different events in history that in fact took place and therefore there must be sufficient explanation for why such an event or logic took place or is real.

Description of SLAA/ 12 step group: Two qualified facilitators lead the group. They use the manual of the 12 steps for general addiction and apply it to the group. Approximately 12-15 people attend. The group starts off by facilitators welcoming the members and describing the objectives of the group as well as asking new members if they wish to introduce themselves. They pass around a paper that briefly describes their group. They then say what they hope to achieve in this session and ask members whether anyone has any success that they wish to report about related to the last. Each member then takes a turn in reading an excerpt of the current step. Members are then asked to briefly describe their thoughts on this step and how they can apply in in real life. Each member is thanked by name after speaking, and each is given a chance to participate by facilitators moving in round-robin style around circle. Facilitators then tell members what they intend to do in coming session.
