Shinto has been Japan's traditional religious beliefs going back to the beginning of its culture, but in the mid 500's A.D. Buddhism was introduced. While it was quickly adopted by the ruling class, the common people maintained their Shinto beliefs and simply merged the two religions together. Michigan liquor control commission is the sole wholesaler of liquor in the state of Michigan. This paper answers questions based on the Michigan liquor control commission case study. The paper provides alternative designs that can be used for the distribution of liquor and some of the benefits and risks. If Shivers made Republicanism respectable in the Democratic South during the 1950's, how does the ideology of the Republican Party in Texas today resemble the conservative Democratic Party philosophy that Shivers espoused? How effective was Dobbs in showing that Shivers did in fact prepare the way for two-party politics in Texas?

The most effective strategy within a community for any public health issue is two-fold: education and focus. To accomplish this at the community level, there needs to be a broad level of focus and support from all levels of the government: local, State and Federal, in order for there to be a consistent and proactive message. Education should begin at the elementary school level, with teaching talking about substances, abuse and alternatives; and move through the school system as appropriate for the cognitive abilities of various age groups.
