This paper addresses the role of migrants within the UK, and what kind of value is placed on them. It is important to understand how differently migrants are seen depending on who they are, where they come from, and what they can offer to society. Without providing enough perceived value to their new home, migrants are often shunned and others around them want them to return to their home country.
