Higher Education Leadership Purpose Statement the Purpose
An educational institution is no different from other organizations as far as the importance of leadership is concerned. Leaders in education sector can no longer function separately: rather, their actions and decisions must be driven by shared learning. They must be able to develop goals and targets, collaborate with people, act ethically and create sense of unified mission among the organizational members (Kenzer, Carducci & McGavin, 2006). Moreover, leaders in academia must possess strong negotiation skills, since they have to maintain a balance between the needs and demands of staff, students and external stakeholders (Smith & Hughey, 2006).
How One Author Explains the Meaning of Mexican Independence
This paper discusses Mexican Independence. There are two sources presented, for this purpose, who comment upon the subject. The first source is academic, and discusses the subject from a social viewpoint by interweaving the story of one man who started a revolution. The second source, much more modern, presents a shorter, more practical account of this fight. The paper concludes by stating that only in reading both sources can the reader get a clear picture of what Mexican Independence might have meant, and what it can still mean today.

This paper describes their goals, their strategies, and documents the fact that after 2009, the Tamil Tigers are basically no longer functional.
Kitchen debates and Cold War diplomacy
Both Nixon and Khrushchev were notorious in their respective country’s political arena for speaking bluntly and allowing their tempers to take control of the conversation – and as the pair toured the exhibition’s display of a “typical” modern American home kitchen, the stage was set for each man to engage in brash behavior and braggadocio. By examining the actual transcripts of the Kitchen Debate and focusing on the childishly combative manner in which each man reacts to another, it is possible to gain a greater understanding as to how petty motivations and personal grievances can conspire to embroil nations in open warfare while threatening the world’s collective welfare.
Despite their shared stature as key figures in the leadership apparatus of global superpowers which were increasingly at odds from a foreign relations perspective, both Nixon and Khrushchev made little effort to conceal their animosity and disdain for one another’s worldview. The careful concealment of emotion that is typical to high-level diplomatic conferences was quickly abandoned by the infamously emotional leaders, and the result was a conversation which quickly devolved into a schoolyard-style confrontation between a bully and his upstart nemesis.
