Community leadership is important, but it can be difficult in a community that is very diverse in nature. There are both ethical and social responsibilities that have to be considered, along with global perspectives that can be affected. There are major competencies that leaders have to understand, and there are also unique and sometimes unexpected outcomes that must be addressed in order for leaders to move diverse communities forward.
