A recent series of investigative reports in the New York Times discussed the dangers that radiation from diagnostic imaging procedures pose to the American public. The events that brought this issue into the mainstream consciousness were radiation overexposures at respected hospitals; however, the ongoing debate ignored the more complex issues that science has yet to fully address. These include setting exposure limits by age and body size and improving the safety designs of imaging equipment. This essay examines the more complex issues not covered in the press.

I am writing with regard to Kate Chopin's short story "The Story of an Hour". I chose to write concerning this topic because of its complexity. The fact that the story is set in the nineteenth century in a society that is inclined to discriminate women makes it possible for readers to understand why the protagonist puts across particular attitudes.

The Baroque was a style expressed in art, music, architecture and even literature from the Age of Discovery in the 16th century until the early 18th century. Most describe it as more dramatic, florid, embellished and a move away from the total religiosity of the Middle Ages and into a more secular and emotional, time frame. Description of SLAA/ 12 step group: Two qualified facilitators lead the group. They use the manual of the 12 steps for general addiction and apply it to the group. Approximately 12-15 people attend. This article critique is intended to examine if the given research paper, "Factors influencing treatment delay for patients with acute myocardial infarction" by Lisa Lesneski serves its purpose and helps in determining the factors which are responsible for causing delay in treating AMI given its fatal nature. The thorough analysis enabled us to determine that where the statistical tools used for computation were suitable for such type of study, there were serious limitations which affected the suitability of the sample selected. Due to these limitations, the outcomes of the research could not be levied on the whole population i.e. patients of AMI. Furthermore, implied hypotheses, wrong sample selection, inefficient sample settings, and confusing criteria of selection of the subjects, made the research unable to provide empirical evidence.
