Upsetting To All Of The People In Term Paper

¶ … upsetting to all of the people in the world that consider themselves neat. The title is very clear in its meaning and the introduction is very bold. It does not trivialize any of the issues that are about to be discussed and makes a very clear cut remark as to how the author feels about those who are neat and those who are sloppy. The topic sentence accuses neat people of being mean and lazy and discusses sloppy people as not actually being sloppy. Supporting statements for this have much to do with the way that sloppy people are always planning to organize their lives. Because they are always planning ways to do this and it is such an involved task, it never gets done. However, the author thinks that this is not because these people are lazy but simply because they do not have the time to organize their lives the way they would like them to be. The organization that they have in mind is so perfect that it can never be achieved and therefore it is never started. The article transitions from the perfection of sloppy people to the cruelty of neat people.

The author also accuses neat people of throwing everything away and this is the reason for their neatness. It does not matter if it is a letter from a relative letter or a toy that has been left somewhere by a child, the person who is neat will throw this away. The article concludes with this type of accusation and goes so far as to state that many neat people might actually consider sending their children away to a boarding school so that the floors do not get dirty. The tone and voice of this article are almost harsh but it seems that it is also possible that the author is only being sarcastic and does not actually feel this way about all people who are neat or all who are sloppy. However, the way that it is approached and the style that is used make it seem that the author is making a very strong case for those who are sloppy and how they are actually the better people where morals are concerned.
