It would be impossible for any group leader to impose his views or to stimulate his subalterns through lies, deceit and unethical behavior. And while there have been cases in which an unethical approach has succeeded, its positive outcomes were only observable in the short-term, with the long run revealing damage. In other words, other forces aside and in a fair and correct setting, the relationship between ethics and leadership is a direct one in the meaning that the more ethical and integer an individual will be, the higher his chances of being a good leader.
