There are several challenges facing young adults in the modern society because of the evolving time frame and many changes taking place in the society. Third, young adults are confronted with the temptation to succumb to the ever-increasing vices in today's society.
As previously mentioned, finances is one of the major challenges facing young adults today because of the changing economic structure. This challenge is attributed to the different economic times that these people face as compared to those of their parents ("Young Adults Face a Rough Road Ahead," 2011). As a result of this economic structure, young adults have experienced increase in debt levels as evident in the increase in credit card bills, student debt, and medical bills. The challenging economic conditions have contributed to numerous hardships to young adults that in turn result in difficulties to assume responsibilities and carry out important activities for their future lives.
