CAR RENTAL CONTRACT

This Agreement is made and entered in this __ day of ____, _ (time) at (location

Between? ____ of ____ hereafter called 'Owner', and ____, of ____, hereafter called 'Renter'.

VEHICLE

The vehicle that the Owner hereby agrees to rent is: (make; year of model)

Registered mileage at beginning of rental period:

The Owner maintains that, to the best of his knowledge, the vehicle in question is in safe and optimum working condition and free of faults or defects that would affects its safety and operation under normal usage.

RENTAL PERIOD

The Owner has agreed to rent aforesaid vehicle for the duration of ____(day / month) to ____ (day/month), during which time the following conditions are met:

1. Renter agrees that the aforementioned vehicle should be used for personal purposes only.

2. Passengers using vehicle occupy only the interior of the vehicle during their journey.

3. Passengers occupying vehicle do not exceed * amount during any one specific time.

4. Vehicle is not used for purposes of pushing, towing, or propelling another vehicle or object without prior written agreement of Owner.

5. Vehicle is not used for competitive purposes

6. Vehicle is used only for legal objectives

7. Renter scrupulously maintains and ensures upkeep of vehicle during duration of lease.

8. No other individual aside from Renter is permitted to operate vehicle without prior written agreement from Owner.

9. Passengers, transported property, or material will not exceed stated rated weight carrying capacity of the vehicle.

INSURANCE

Renter is responsible for indemnifying Owner for any loss or damage (regardless of extent or cause) that has occurred to this vehicle during the duration of the lease. Repayment includes no-fault events such as collision, fire, flood, vandalism, theft, and similar situations. The Owner is responsible for faults or defects that have been proved to be inherent to vehicle at the time of purchase.

RENTAL RATE

Renter pays Owner $____ per ____ for use of aforesaid vehicle. Fuel, and other necessary, applicable, and involved items used in operation of car during period of lease are to be covered by Renter.
