Text Message from Pamela
Hi mum and Dad, we travelled well and reached our destination safely. We are grateful to God for bringing us to our new home safely. My Husband has gone through a great deal in making our new home. He is hesitant at changing the design of the house. He argues that the house looks its best the way it is. Am not so sure as to whether we should change the decor and design or leave it as it is. Anyhow, we hope to come to a consensus soon.
Good news though, my husband proposes that we have the work start on refurbishing the house. Last evening he shared with me his desired designs that he already has figured out. How I wish that the new house would sever between the sounds from the noisy hornbill and the melodious chirrups of the weaverbird. I really would love to enjoy the melodious tunes without the interruptions from the annoying hornbill and the perking birds.
Please do not let me bore you with the descriptions of the intricate designs of the house. I am particularly glad that god has favored us so much with the best in life's finest. By the way, Mum, we propose to make the house better by furnishing it in a manner that you and dad will like. The guest room will also be fitted with the best in furniture and fittings. We will maintain the floor in its originality and cover the rest of the floor with beautiful carpets that will be coming along with the furniture Well, I must but put a pause at this juncture. Am grateful to have been gifted with a loving husband and caring parents. TTYL.

Hi baby girl, your mum and I are doing well. We are exceptionally happy for your benevolence towards us. We have constantly wondered among ourselves what manner of deeds we did to receive such a loving a daughter and an adorable son in law. We are particularly proud that we have raised a young woman who is not ashamed of her humble background and one who can interface and interact with both the mighty and the humble in society. We also thank god continually for your benevolence to us ward and we pray that He keeps you and your husband happy and well.
When I look around our well stocked farm I can hardly imagine that this is the same farm that was infamous for the stench of poverty. See us today we are the pride of the county with crops in the farm, harvest in the barns and animals in the fields. It is comforting to know that our daughter's future is secured in a wealthy man who adores her. Furthermore, we are equally glad that our son in law rescued us from everyday toil we thank God and we thank the best of you, you are just the best. Well Pam, I must now retire, my old age does not allow lengthy indulgence at night. Let us catch up in the morning, good night dear child.

Morning dear, where were we, my old rugged brain cannot quiet recall where we had reached with our distant dialogues last night. I hope you are as rested as I. Your mother sends her love . Now let me continue with our conversation. I really thank god for making you a blessing to your mother and I. Had it not been for His smiling your way we would still be languishing in the pits of poverty and desperation. Thanks be to God we changed our address and poverty cannot locate our new abode because we are well cushioned with wealth. Dear child, I cannot thank you enough for reversing our reproof. We constantly pray to the Father of lights that He continues to bless you and your generous husband. Today we pride ourselves by being the talk of the county. Our detractors have since turned from jeerers to cheerers. Thank you for lifting us from that place where the poor called us poor; at least the company of the rich presently comforts us.
Having said that, let me also bring to your attention that we will be receiving our oldest grandson who will reside with us at the ranch. I gather that the lad is quiet industrious. We will be more than happy to have him around both for the company and for his skills. Additionally, your Uncle...
Price Beauty? 'For though beauty is seen and confessed by all, yet, from the many fruitless attempts to account for the cause of its being so, enquiries on this head have almost been given up" William Hogarth, The Analysis of Beauty, (1753) Not very encouraging words, but if the great artist William Hogarth felt himself up to the task, we can attempt at least to follow his lead. That beauty is enigmatic
