Heroine If there is anything that we as a society love deeply…it's a hero. Both children and adults alike are drawn to heroes in both reality and fantasy. Children grow up being regaled by stories of the prince saving the princess and adults beam over happy endings in movies where the hero saves the day. Most people would describe the role as hero as someone, who defies the odds, is

This has allowed for the U.S. To fight effectively in the guerilla type fighting that is occurring overseas near civilian populations. The future warfare will undoubtedly continue to be changed by technology developments. One arena that has just begun to be explored is space. Many have expressed the idea that space is "perhaps the battlefield of the future" (Roland, 2009). In reality, it is already happening, thanks to changes in

If an organizational history has been unwelcome to change in the past, it is highly unlikely that an organization will be

A favorite target for conspiracists today as well as in the past, a group of European intellectuals created the Order of the Illuminati in May 1776, in Bavaria, Germany, under the leadership of Adam Weishaupt (Atkins, 2002). In this regard, Stewart (2002) reports that, "The 'great' conspiracy organized in the last half of the eighteenth century through the efforts of a number of secret societies that were striving for

The term modernism is cast variously by the disciplines that frame and articulate it. Generally, modernism is considered a philosophical movement spun from the Age of Enlightenment, even though modernism would come to reject the religious underpinnings of Enlightenment thinking. Tremendously influential changes
