Function: Commences the timing function of the device. Usage: Depress the start button one time at the start of a meeting in order to commence the timing function. End Button Details: Small rectangular button located in the middle on the top of the Darwin Meeting Timer. Function: Ends the timing function of the device.

Usage: the end button one time at the end of a meeting in order to cease the timing function. Meeting Time Display Details: Numerical display window located on the front top-right face of the Darwin Meeting Timer. Function: Displays the total duration time for the meeting that is being timed. Usage: Display can be referred to by attendees of the meeting to assess meeting duration and thereby assess time-effectiveness.

Persons Present Knob and Display Details: Upper knob located on the left side of the Darwin Meeting Timer and top-left display window located on the front face of the Timer. Function: Sets the number of people present at the meeting and displays that number. Usage: Rotate the knob to the left until number of people present at the meeting is accurately reflected in the display window. Function: Sets the average hourly rate for people in attendance at the meeting and displays that rate. Usage: Rotate the knob to the left until average hourly rate is accurately reflected in the display window WARNING: Do not change the Average Hourly Rate while timer is in use. Meeting Cost Knob and Display Details: Numerical display located on the front bottom-right face of the Darwin Meeting Timer. Function: Displays the total costs incurred for the meeting that is being timed. Usage: Display can be referred to by attendees of the meeting to assess how much the meeting has cost the organization and thereby assess cost-effectiveness. Zero Reset button Details: Small rectangular button located on the top-right side of the Darwin Meeting Timer. Function: Resets all display windows back to zero.
