Our intelligence may not be so great as to win debates with those who have no faith -- but we can through our actions, through our love, win hearts for Christ. That is what this model teaches.
What I like about this model is that it appeals not so much to the intellectual side of what makes Jesus such a good source inspiration but rather to the emotional side. Logic and reason certainly have their place in the way we conduct ourselves, but at some point we realize that logic and reason only take us so far -- that there are still unanswered questions that haunt us, that we still must rely on faith in Christ to overcome the obstacles that get in our way. We cannot always reason our way out of things -- and to some extent our use of reason can actually get in the way. We often use reason to justify our actions when if we look at Jesus as a model of love, the example of how we should behave towards others is quite clear. There is no need to seek justifications or excuses for why we cannot help others or why we should ignore people's requests for…
On Mount Sinai, God forgives all but those who have gone against Him (Exodus 32). The implication of this is that salvation comes to those who refuse, like Moses and the Levites, to stray from the path of God. The Christian New Testament describes salvation, according to the word of God, through his Son Jesus (Christians believe Jesus was the son of God, who came to earth to save humanity;
However, when referring to what is God's will and what behavior and actions are considered pleasing to God's eyes, St. Augustine did not specifically enumerate or identify these. Consistent in his arguments, however, is to live life in accordance to His will, among which he recommended acquainting one's self with the Christian doctrine (as he did so himself when he sought the Christian faith). In this section, salvation from sin is
Salvation Many people define salvation as deliverance, and the Bible looks at it from a physical and spiritual point-of-view. In Exodus 14:13, the Bible states "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he accomplishes for you." Here, God is talking about the physical deliverance of the people of Israel from Egyptian armies. Also, Hebrews 2:3 it is the liberation of individuals from the penalty

The Salvation Army needs to improve its ability to earn money, so that it can pursue its
Salvation Debate- Calvinism and Arminianism Calvinism and Arminianism are two different systems of theology that attempt to explain the relationship between God's sovereignty and man's free will. What differentiates these views is the issue of free will and whether people have any as compared to God's will. Some people claim that God's will supersedes human will in all situations if God's will is different. On the other hand, some people
Moving to a Liberation Theology Introduction The traditional doctrines of Salvation and the Holy Spirit can be viewed differently when approached from the perspective of Liberation Theology. The theological position of the liberation theology is that social justice and the liberation from oppression is the key to executing the philosophy and teachings of Christ on Earth. According to Juan Luis Segundo in The Liberation of Theology, the central premise of Christianity is
