Communication skills, problem-solving skills, empathy skills and nurturing skills are very important in life because they assist an individual in a professional career. This study demonstrates the methods that I employ to acquire all these skills. I started to develop these skills from my elementary school. This was where I started to develop communication skills, listening skill and problem solving skills. In my secondary and university education, I was able to develop organization skills, empathy skills and nurturing skills. I was also able to develop advanced communication skills, and problem solving within my secondary and university education. The accumulation of these skills will assist me in my professional career.

This essay is a fictional case scenario involving a college HRM team and an internal communication problem experienced by the team. It makes a comparison to a similar communications problem in a real-life business organization. In this case, the main problem was the discouragement of dissent by junior members of the team and the real-life situation was the failure of risk management on the BP Deepwater Horizon driling platform that exploded in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010.

Abstract Instances of bullying in our schools are said to be on the increase. Although such behavior remains a well-known phenomenon, little has been done to stem the same. In this text, I concern myself with bullying in schools. In so doing, I will amongst other things define bullying and the profiles of both the victim and the bully. Further, I will highlight a number of measures which could be taken in an attempt to wipe away the vice.
