This essay examines Jane Fonda's 2005 keynote speech at the Women & Power conference from the perspective of Neo-Aristotelian criticism. By analyzing Fonda's speech according to the five canons of rhetoric, one is able to see how seemingly problematic details do not detract from the persuasive ability of the speaker.
