The present work is focused on undertaking an in-depth analysis of two famous religious paintings: The Virgin and Child by Barnaba da Modena, an Italian painter from the fourteenth century, and The Elevation of the Cross by Peter Paul Rubens, a seventeenth century Flemish artist and diplomat. Following, by comparison, a thorough account of the two works' features, careful observation reveals more than one interpretation.

The original version of Fantasia was never released again after 1941. The film was a failure, now it is viewed as a great film. Most of the works played in the film are program music; that is, instrumental music that depicts stories in sound. The music pieces are eight in number and of them - Toccata and Fugue, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, the Dance of the Hours, and Ave Maria are in full. The other three, namely the Nutcracker Suite, March, the Rite of Spring, the Pastoral Symphony and the Night on Bald Mountain are not in full and are fragmented.

The capital city is Lisbon and most of the population lives in urban areas rather than rural areas. There are archipelagos, Azores, and Madeira, which are additionally a part of Portugal. The paper will provide insight into the country of Portugal, regaling parts of the country's history from the 16th century to the present.
