Although Australia has been signing treaties that supported the development of a bill of rights in the country, none of the treaties are legally binding to the government of Australia, and the provisions for a Bill of Rights are not found anywhere in the constitution of Australia. This clearly means that the citizens of Australia and any other people living there are not protected by the law, in terms of their fundamental rights.
