This is not your grandfathers' economy or his educational paradigm however; today's curriculum still appears as such and therein lays a very significant and challenging problem that presents to today's educators and leaders. According to Sir Ken Robinson, "We have a system of education that is modeled on the interest of industrialism and in the image of it. Schools are still pretty much organized on factory lines – ringing bells, separate facilities, specialized into separate subjects. We still educate children by batches." (Brain Pickings, 2012) Make no mistake in the opinion of Robinson who believes that divergent thinking most emphatically is not "…the same thing as creativity" because according to Robinson in his work proposing a new educational paradigm. Indeed this is also spoken of in the work of Zeng-tian and Yu-Le in their work "Some Thoughts on Emergent Curriculum" presented at the Forum for Integrated Education and Educational Reform (2004). The emergent curriculum has as its focus the "dialogue and cooperation on the basis of emergentism" stated to be representative of the "basic characteristics of the curriculum development and major direction in the future. It is the product of the critical reflection of the predefined curriculum, the objective demand of constructivist conceptions of knowledge and the basic content of curriculum returning back to the life-world." (Zeng-tian and Yu-Le, 2004)

IQ tests have been used to measure low intellectual ability ever since Binet and Simon produced their original test IQ test in 1905. IQ is viewed as a measurable construct and the concept of intellectual disability has been viewed as a measurable entity since the development of these tests. However, the assessment of IQ is fraught with inaccuracies. These measurement errors can effect who gets what resources, who is placed in the proper environment, and in some states who lives and dies. It is time for a standardized IQ measure that is used across all situations to measure intellectual disabilities.

Business Ethics Introduction How important is an individual's privacy in the workplace? Is an individual's privacy in the workplace the most important consideration to be taken into account? What constitutes privacy in a workplace environment? Do the goals and the mission of the organization supersede an individual's desire to protect his or her privacy? Is it ethical for an employer to collect and disperse personal information from employees without their knowledge? How does the philosophy of utilitarianism play into this issue? This paper delves into those questions and provides supporting information for the resolution of this issue. Thesis After careful review of the textbook for this course, after reviewing additional scholarly resources and taking into consideration a utilitarian approach to this issue – and after researching the Australian laws regarding workplace privacy – this paper takes the position that an individual's privacy is indeed vitally important (and must by law be protected) but not as important as the quality of effort put forward by the employee in terms of teamwork, production, and competency vis-à-vis the goals and purposes of the organization.

According to one definition of military culture, it is a distinct closed system of behavior according to which the members of the military are supposed to act. It consists of written as well as unwritten rules and regulations along with discrete beliefs and symbols (Cosmo, 2009). When we talk about military culture in Israel, we refer to the whole military situation in Israel and how it affects the society and the economy. The determinant of the military culture of Israel is the Israel Defense Forces. IDF are the military forces of the State of Israel and they are formed by the ground forces, navy and the air forces. Being the only military wing of the state, it does not have any civil jurisdiction within the country.

This project consisted of adding several pages to an existing study concerning the suitability of well-known leadership approaches for a Japanese context. Several pages were added to the literature review chapter, two pages were added to the methodology chapter and additional pages were added to the discussion. A new chapter VI was added to provide a summary and conclusion to the study. Several new references were also added.
