The quest for justice in a society is a long process and its fullness may not be attained sometimes. This study had laid its focus on four cases, which occurred between 1963 and 2000 whilst elucidating the facets in it. In the case of Edwards v. South Carolina, 372 U.S. 229 (1963), justice appears to have been denied because the freedom of association and speech were curtailed.
