Urban Planning, Urban Sprawl, and Quality of Life
Urban planning, or also referred to as urban development, consists of the formal planning process in which urban area designed to meet both the present and future challenges that are present in city life. They consider the relationship between the built environment and human behaviors or quality of life (Handy, Boarnet, Ewing, & Killingsworth, 2002). An urban planner, sometimes called a city planner, can assist community leaders in analyzing trends in order to decide how to best use public resources to meet various objectives. Some of the issues that are commonly addressed by an urban planner might include city growth planning, urban decay, environmental issues, social issues such as poverty and crime, and many more. By studying these issues, researchers attempt to understand the factors that make cities both livable and enjoyable. This research is also used to implement plans and policies by which positive urban development will be fostered.

A brief analysis of eight different poems written by Poe, Dickinson, Blake, Owen, Cummings, Thomas, and Silverstein. In each of the poems, a literary device was identified and it was demonstrated how one of the poems made use of the device. Devices included imagery, repetition, tone, style, metaphor, and theme.
Current impacts of Mexican-U.S. immigration on population and society
The paper compares two articles about immigration. One article is from a British publication about immigration in Britain. The other article is from an American publication about immigration from America, with specific attention on the 20th century or "the American Century." The article from The Economist explains that to ease tensions within the British government, Blair proposed official supporting of legal immigration and the intensification of stopping illegal immigration. Hirschman's concern is to understand the multifaceted impact that the American century had upon the United States and upon the world, with particular regard to perception and identity.
Youth Unemployment in Armenia: Causes and Research Proposal
Youth unemployment rates in Armenia are at an all-time high, but what is leading to its increase? Unemployment rates in countries are defined by individuals who are currently jobless but are seeking active employment within the last four weeks (Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2009). It is particularly interesting to see such a high youth unemployment rate because statistics show that the general unemployment rate within adults in Armenia has decreased from 7.1% in 2007 to 5.9% in 2011 (Index Mundi, 2012) yet unemployment amongst the youth contuse unabated and shows no tendency to decline. Several negative things are correlated with youth unemployment. Examples in this include preventions of socializations in the labor market which lead to negative social consequences, cycles of dependence on parents and an increased likelihood of drug and or alcohol consumption (World Bank, 2007). The following paper will investigate possible results of unemployment in youth unemployment in Armenia and propose to test whether these variables still exist and, if so, to which extent.
Reading responses to a poem
