Crossvergence and the Hofstede Cultural Framework Critique
Hofstede's analysis of different cultural dimensions is one of the most commonly-used rubrics in analyzing global business. This article review examines a study comparing the banking industries of Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the United States, suggesting that the reality is that cultures are far more dynamic than is suggested in Hofstede's paradigm.
